M (Moritz) Tenthoff, MA

My PhD research is part of the River Commons project and focusses on territorial disputes around the Cauca river in SouthWest Colombia. I am also currently working as the local representative of Belgian organization Broederlijk Delen in Colombia and within this PhD I combine research with my work to strengthen local communities that face the threat of extractive industries and the armd conflict on their territories. Originally from the Netherlands I have been working in Colombia since 2005 with Human Rights organizations and rural communities on collective protection.
