The Corporate Legal section provides support in shaping and ensuring compliance with the group-wide legal policy. A key part of its work involves developing and maintaining the organisational structure by drafting regulations and implementing relevant legislation.

Corporate Legal provides legal support to the Executive Board, corporate staff departments, the management teams of the sciences groups, the facilities department and affiliated entities of Wageningen University & Research. Corporate Legal works closely with the legal advisers of the various organisational units or provides support where sciences groups do not have their own legal expertise.

In my capacity as a lawyer, I act exclusively on behalf of Wageningen University & Research. Wageningen University & Research does not have a Third-Party Accounts Foundation. I am registered in the Dutch Bar Association’s register of legal specialisms with the area of law: general practice (administrative law, private law). This registration requires me to obtain ten continuing professional development points in this area of law every calendar year, in accordance with the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
