AN (Mundie) Salm, MSc
Biography
Originally from Canada with Dutch roots, I came to Wageningen in 1995 to do an MSc degree and have been based here on and off ever since. I have now been working for almost two decades in agricultural education, in curriculum (re-)design, teacher training, in face-to-face, blended and online learning. I have worked with educators in multiple countries in the global South and in the Netherlands.
My passion is about making learning trajectories more meaningful and also inclusive. Currently I work at the Teaching and Learning Centre as Instructional designer for the LifeLong Learning Creation team (formerly called Open&Online). There I advise and train lecturers in the pedagogical design of courses - whether online MOOCs, Blended or Face-to-Face trainings for professionals. A key theme coming into my work now is design of Interdisciplinary, Transdisciplinary mixed classrooms - and how to integrate diverse interests and disciplines into a course.
