I combine science&technology studies with (rural) sociology to study issues of contestation, justice and governance in relation to transitions in agri-food. Some of my recent projects are about 'phasing out' in transitions, ethical considerations in the development and use of AI in agri-food, contestations on glyphosate in the science policy interface, the development of innovative methods to have constructive dialogue about the future of the Dutch food system, and transformative governance arrangements in the context of nature positive food systems.
