prof.dr.ir. GJMM (Gert-Jan) Nabuurs

Gert-Jan Nabuurs is professor European forest resources at Wageningen University and Research. His expertise is European scale forest resource analyses, climate change mitigation and adaptation, forest restoration and climate smart forestry. He was IPCC Coordinating Lead Author in the Sixth Assessment Report for Agriculture and Forestry and earlier on served 4 times in IPCC as Coordinating Lead Author. He is member of board of ENFIN (European national forest inventories network) and boardmember at BuiltbyNature.
