As a PhD candidate, I focus on improving our understanding of the interactions between organic matter and micronutrients, with a particular emphasis on zinc. Many soils worldwide are low in bioavailable zinc, and organic matter plays a key role in regulating its availability. The aim of my work is to improve zinc bioavailability in soils, thereby contributing to improved food quality and supporting human health.
