Biography

Sofia Leonti is a PhD candidate affiliated with the Consumption and Healthy Lifestyles Group of Wageningen University and Research. Her PhD is part of the KIC Microbiome project "Precision medicine for agriculture: harnessing peptide-producing microbiota for sustainable crop protection". Within the project, her focus is on understanding the behavior of farmers, consumers, and other involved stakeholders with regard to the implementation of microbiome technology for sustainable crop production. Her academic background consists of an MSc in Economic Psychology, but her personal involvement extends also to domains such as agricultural innovation systems, sustainability, marketing, sales, organizational behavior, occupational health, social and cross-cultural psychology.
