TA (Tom) Rowe, PhD

Tom Rowe is a Postdoctoral Researcher at WASS. His work on the WASS community project focuses on collaboration and knowledge exchange across a diverse research community.

Tom completed his PhD in Cultural Geography at Wageningen University, where his research explored collective responses to the climate crisis in the Netherlands, with a particular focus on climate justice, emotions and activist organisation. His broader research interests include environmental governance, participatory approaches to socio-ecological transformation, and the relationships between research, policy, and practice.

Before starting his current role, Tom worked in research coordination and postgraduate programme management in both the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, supporting interdisciplinary research projects and doctoral education.
