Y (Yamine) Bouzembrak, PhD

Dr. Yamine Bouzembrak is an Associate Professor in Artificial Intelligence for Food and Health at Wageningen University & Research. His research focuses on applying AI and machine learning to improve food safety, food quality, public health, and sustainable food systems.

He develops intelligent models that support risk assessment, food fraud detection, disease prediction, and decision-making across the food chain. His work combines AI, big data, and systems thinking to address challenges at the intersection of food, health, and sustainability.

Dr. Bouzembrak collaborates with international research partners and leads projects funded by European and national organizations. His research aims to harness AI to create safer, healthier, and more sustainable food systems.
