Biography
I am an engineering physicist. I earned my Bachelor's and Master's in Engineering Physics in 2019 from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Bombay, India.
I started my scientific career working on active particle systems such as mercury, pentanol and camphor. I also worked on simulating the 2D Navier-Stokes equations to replicate the oscillatory behavior of candle flames. My Master thesis was focused on levitating a magnetic object in near-vacuum conditions.
I joined the Microscale Robotics Laboratory (SSSA Pisa), where I worked on the monolayer formations for the fabrication of Janus microparticles to tune the speed of chemically driven Janus Particle. I have also worked on encapsulating both Janus and magnetic nanoparticles in Giant Unilamellar Vesicle (lipid bilayers) to study vesicle deformation.
In Wageningen University & Research, I will work on Evaporation driven self-assembly at fluid-fluid interface.
