About HortINspire
Knowledge about protected cultivation is developing rapidly around the world. At the same time, that knowledge is not always easy to find or directly applicable. What works in one region often needs to be adapted elsewhere to local conditions, available technology, market developments and knowledge needs.
HortINspire provides a practical entry point. Within the platform, practical questions, scientific knowledge and new solutions come together. This creates an international network in which participants can share, apply and take knowledge further at a faster pace.
What do you gain from taking part?
- knowledge and possible solutions for questions within your own organisation or region
- access to WUR expertise in protected cultivation
- region-specific thematic sessions, online expert sessions and networking events
- earlier insight into new developments in the sector
- connections with international participants from practice, technology, research and government
The platform is designed as a two-way exchange. WUR contributes scientific knowledge and expertise, while participants share practical questions, experiences and solutions. This creates an international network in which knowledge not only becomes available sooner, but is also more closely aligned with practice.
Who is HortINspire for?
HortINspire is intended for organisations and professionals who are active in CEA or contribute to it. This includes growers, companies, technology developers, knowledge institutions, governments, advisers, investors and other parties working on innovation in this field. The platform is open to participants worldwide.
