Is this Summer School for you?

This programme is developed for professionals and current and about to start Master students who are interested in boarding the insights of the agricultural and food domain. At least Bsc level of English is required.

Programme & topics

The unique course in biotechnology, agriculture and food will be given on-site in Wageningen campus. Courses and lectures will cover cutting-edge technologies and new trends in biotech, agriculture, food, and nutrition.

The course includes a variety of lectures, knowledge clips, excursions, case study presentations and group work. The following topics will be discussed about global challenges, trends, technology transfer and innovation:

  • Agriculture and environment
  • Agricultural production and supply chain
  • Food design and processing
  • Human nutrition and health

Practical information

This programme is two weeks long. It includes ten
online courses or lectures with 20 teaching hours. There are also more than 10
group study hours. All courses, lectures and assignments will be conducted
through Brightspace, the online learning platform of WUR.

Number of participants is at maximum 40.

The Summer School takes place from 15 July 2024 to 26 July 2024.

The course fee is €1,850 per person. The course fee covers tuition, access to the online learning environment and the online live sessions.

Early-bird fee: Secure your spot at a discounted rate of €1,650 by registering before May 1st as part of our early-bird special.

Based on your attendance, you will receive a certificate after the programme is finished.
