“I have a clear view that I want to work for multinational Agri companies or banks”

Pedro from Brasil did his bachelor’s in the US in agricultural business. During an internship he shared his ambitions to have an international career with a professor who strongly recommended Wageningen University & Research.

I did not have too many doubts when selecting the master’s programme. I have a very clear Agri-business background. In addition, I have a clear view that I want to work for multinational Agri companies or banks. This programme has both. I am currently doing my thesis while working for ING bank. This set up helps me to get practical knowledge while I am doing my research. It also provides me with opportunities for networking as well as challenges that help me grow professionally.

I really liked the Academic Consultancy Training. I was lucky enough to get a great team and an interesting project. I learned a lot about the more practical side of my studies. The soft skills and team spirit that was required has been extremely helpful for my current internship.
