Your job
You help WUR lecturers to make their teaching more entrepreneurial. You connect education with practice, support teachers with tools and grow a community where knowledge and ideas are shared.
As a Learning Designer Co-creation & Entrepreneurial Change Agency, you will help WUR lecturers to create education that teaches students to become conscious and entrepreneurial change agents. You will show how entrepreneurial thinking works and how this can be applied in lessons and projects.
You develop ways of learning in which students work on real challenges, such as‑action-based, case-based and challenge-based education. You also ensure that the WUR community around entrepreneurial education continues to grow: this is a group of teachers who help and inspire each other.
In addition, you are the permanent point of contact for anyone who wants to connect entrepreneurship with their profession or program. You help them on their way, think along with them and ensure that they receive the right support.
Your most important tasks:
- Developing and offering practical tools for entrepreneurial education.
- To grow and support the teacher community around entrepreneurship.
- To be the first point of contact for teaching colleagues with questions or ideas.
- Helping teachers to use entrepreneurial teaching methods in their teaching.
- Coordinating cases, challenges and guest speakers in education.
- To form the link between education and entrepreneurial practice within and outside WUR.
Your team
You will become part of team Eship@WUR (also known as Starthub team). This team is part of the Co-Creating Value & Impact department responsible for the knowledge valorisation of WUR. You will work together with experienced professionals in the field of academic entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial learning and development and overall knowledge valorisation.

You work for the department responsible for knowledge valorisation at WUR. This department is called Co-Creating Value & Impact and is part of Corporate Staff.
Your qualities
You have a passion for (academic) entrepreneurship, innovation and entrepreneurial learning and have the ambition to embed entrepreneurship in the breadth of the WU curriculum.
- You are academically trained, preferably in the domains of entrepreneurship, innovation, entrepreneurial learning, and valorisation;
- you preferably have a BKE (Basic Qualification Examination). An extra bonus: you also have SKE (Senior Qualification Examination);
- you have at least 2 years of experience in academic education, preferably at WUR.
In addition, you bring
- you have a real passion for entrepreneurial learning and developing entrepreneurial professionals;
- you want to develop further in how to embed entrepreneurial education throughout the WU curriculum;
- you are curious, like to think along and want to continue to grow as an education professional.
In our international working environment, communication is increasingly in English. For this position, it concerns a minimum language level B2. If you do not yet have this level, we will of course help you and you can contact our language center Wageningen in'to Language

Of course, these excellent fringe benefits also include an appropriate salary. Depending on your experience, we offer a competitive salary of a minimum of € 3,546.- to a maximum of € 5,538.- for a full working week of 38 hours according to the Collective Labor Agreement of Dutch Universities (scale 10).
We offer you a one-year contract with the intention of prolonging it with 3 years minimum. If you are an internal candidate, we will discuss this with you from the perspective of your current contract. We encourage development and mobility within our organization.
