Ready to lead a strongly committed team to the next level of maturity in a dynamic and inspiring working environment? Are you an experienced HR professional with strong leadership skills? We are looking for a Team Lead HR Services who will be responsible for leading and developing a dedicated team. This is a challenging role with significant responsibility, naturally accompanied by excellent employment conditions.

As Team Lead HR Services, you play a vital role within the HR Services team. This team delivers operational HR services to more than 8,000 employees. In addition, it provides advice, reporting and support for operational processes, as well as for talent-related processes such as Recruitment, Vitality & Health, and Learning & Development.

You will join an organisation that is continuously evolving. What does this mean in practice for your role?

  • You manage the HR Services Officers team (16 employees).
  • You realise and report on SLAs and KPIs for operational HR processes.
  • You act as the point of contact for clients in cases of escalation and more complex operational HR issues.
  • You create stronger collaboration across the entire HR value chain within the organisation, acting as a connecting leader.
  • You take the initiative in process improvements, supported by process data, and are able to persuade based on experience. Simplification, standardisation and harmonisation are key ambitions.

Your team

  • You will lead and work with sixteen team members, geographically dispersed over several locations on campus and one off campus.  
  • You will also be part of the Management Team HR Operations, together with your co Team Lead HR Services who managers the Payroll Officers, the Team Lead HR Contact Centre and a representative from the Payroll&Tax team and the Head of HR Operations.
  • You will work closely with the Heads of HR in the eight organization units, ensuring the operational HR Service Delivery is up to standard and to empower cooperation between your HR Services Officers and HR Business Partners.
  • Finally you work on process improvements and changes with the TOP team, consisting of the Product Owner MyHR and other team leads.

You will work here 

  • Corporate HR at the Atlas building on Wageningen Campus. Your job however requires frequent meetings on different sites on campus where the other organizational units are located.

Your qualities

  • You have at least a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree.
  • Knowledge of HR-related legislation and regulations.
  • Extensive knowledge of personnel information systems and payroll administration.
  • Insight into and experience with HR-related business processes.
  • Experience as an operational manager is an advantage.

These excellent secondary benefits are, of course, complemented by an appropriate salary. Depending on your experience, we offer a market-conform salary ranging from € 3,399,- to € 5,478,- gross per month for a full-time workweek of 36 hours, in accordance with the CAO Wageningen Research (scale 10).

Initially, we offer a one-year contract, with the intention to extend and eventually convert it into a permanent contract. A working week of 32 hours is negotiable.
