Wageningen University’s campus is compact and all buildings are easy to reach due to their physical proximity. There are four new buildings each with their own character that offer students, teachers, researchers and staff a wonderful place to meet and exchange ideas.
Wageningen University & Research LibraryWUR Library is a great place to study. There are two library locations on Campus. In Forum Library you’ll find over 650 study places (with and without a PC) and several group study rooms. There’s also a relax corner with beanbags, a chess board and free-to-take books. The Leeuwenborch Library offers about 140 study places. At the lending desks you can buy small office supplies (earphones, binding covers). WUR Library holds a large collection of print and digital publications, as well as a large study collection with literature from current lectures. Use the Library’s website to access databases, articles and eBooks, or to get printed books and journals. At Forum and Leeuwenborch Library friendly staff can always help you to find the right sources.
Wageningen in'to LanguagesWageningen in'to Languages is the language desk at Wageningen University & Research and offers language courses, self study facilities and services for translation and editing for students and employees of the university. Self study courses and materials are offered in 20 languages. These services may also be available for non-university clients upon request.
The Wageningen Writing Lab
The Wageningen Writing Lab offers individualised support on how to write assignments. You can experiment freely there with your approach, coached by a specially trained peer-tutor. You’ll find us in the library in the Forum.
Wageningen University encourages students and staff to participate in scientific, cultural and social activities beyond their field of specialisation. The Studium Generale Team and Committee offers a program of readings, lectures and debate-series as well as workshops, excursions, film (Movie-W), drama, concerts and exhibitions.
Sports Centre de BongerdSports Centre de Bongerd (SCB) is a university sports centre and offers students and employees of Wageningen University & Research, Van Hall Larenstein, University of Applied Sciences an extensive workout and sports opportunities. You can exercise 7 days per week at the sports centre.
Wageningen University shop
At the shop you can purchase textbooks, internet cables and office equipment. In the Study Handbook you can check what literature you need. If you need to buy books, you will need the name of your study programme and the course codes and names of the subjects. At the WUR shop you can pay cash or by pin (not with a credit card)
Study books and study material can be ordered via the Studystore or directly from the WUR shop in the Forum building on campus.
