Arjo Rothuis has an experience record covering more than 25 years in which he worked in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and in the Netherlands. He has extensive experience in aquaculture, small-scale fisheries, and integrated agri-aqua systems, and with policy advise, technical backstopping, project formulation and evaluation, feasibility studies, and project management. This experience was obtained by working with NGOs, multi-lateral agencies (FAO, EC), universities, private companies, and governmental organisations, both through long-term assignments and short-term consultancy work. His previous position was at the Institute of Marine Aquatic Resources and Ecosystem Studies (IMARES/Wageningen UR), where he worked as business developer for international Aquaculture and Fisheries projects. He recently moved to Wageningen International (part of Wageningen UR) where he is working as Account Manger Asia.
