Assistant professorForest are beautiful, fascinating and very important ecosystems for humanity. I am interested in the drivers of tree species abundances, and how the composition of these species affect forest function, recovery and resilience. Working with a global forest dataset, in tropical forest ecosystems or in the Netherlands, I contribute with my research to answering these questions.
