Pascal is working as a Lecturer and Researcher at the Animal Breeding and Genetics group. Part of his research is focused around the use of data on crossbred animals for genomic prediction. In addition, he investigates if non-additive genetic variance is important, or can be exploited. In addition, Pascal is interested in the application of Machine Learning in genetics and animal breeding. Next to his responsibilities as a researcher, Pascal is involved in discussion groups for BSc and MSc students, and in teaching courses related to animal breeding.
