After obtaining my BBA in International Tourism Management and Consultancy at NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences in 2009 I moved to New Zealand to work for a local tour operator in hiking and cycling holidays. After a couple of years I decided to move back to The Netherlands and start my MSc Leisure, Tourism and Environment at Wageningen University, from which I graduated cum laude in February 2015.
I now work as the study advisor for two joint degree programmes:
- The BSc Tourism (Wednesday and Friday), a joint degree between Breda University of Applied Sciences and Wageningen University. The BSc Tourism is the only academic tourism programme in the Netherlands and has an international character. For more information on this program see our webpage at www.wur.nl/bto.
- The MSc Metropolitan Analysis, Design and Engineering (Tuesday and Thursday), a joint degree between Wageningen University & Research and Delft University of Technology. The MSc Metropolitan Analysis, Design and Engineering is based at the Amsterdam Institute for Advanced Metropolitan Solutions in Amsterdam. For more information on this program see our webpage at https://www.wur.nl/en/Education-Programmes/master/MSc-programmes/MSc-Metropolitan-Analysis-Design-and-Engineering.htm.
