Education - dr.ir. RHP (Ruud) Wilbers

The multidisciplinary nature of my research is also reflected in the teaching I am involved in. I coordinate the 3rdyear BSc course Basics of Infectious Diseases and teach in the courses Immunotechnology and Host-Parasite Interactions. On occasion I act as lecturer or coach in Current Topics in Plant Biotechnology, Research Methodology in Plant Sciences, Plants & Health 1 & 2, or as academic advisor during Academic Consultancy Training. Furthermore, I have supervised an extensive number of BSc and MSc thesis students (>150), including students from 6 different study programs of Wageningen University and international backgrounds.

For more information on thesis projects, see Thesis topics on our website.

If your interested in an internship covering plant molecular farming, glyco-engineering, host-parasite interactions or parasitology, feel free to contact me. I am always happy to use my network to help students to find an interesting research project.
