Images on the mountain: Decolonising botany

On Thursday, May 23, Images on the Mountain will host a lecture evening at Impulse on the Wageningen campus in prelude to the exhibition Witchweed / decolonizing botany (June 1 - September 15). Tinde van Andel will speak about indigenous knowledge and the origins of botanical gardens and science from 1492, Marjolein van der Loo will talk about plants as means of decoloniality, and Robin Bredero zur Lage will give a pitch on decolonization and maples in Belmonte.
