Wageningen faces major challenges. The construction of 3,500 new homes by 2040 is essential, but far from straightforward. The ambitions are high. Given the limited space available and the demanding requirements, this presents a significant urban planning and architectural challenge. Menno Lam will demonstrate how high-quality architecture can make a real difference.
Please note: The lecture will be held in Dutch.
Menno Lam is the owner of Lam Architects in Bennekom and is a strong advocate of people-centred architecture that enhances quality of life. For him, architecture begins with listening and understanding.
The evening starts at 20:00 in the Impulse building on Wageningen Campus. Be sure to arrive on time to secure the best seat in Speakers Corner. There will be a short break halfway through the lecture, providing an opportunity to stretch your legs, get some fresh air, and enjoy a drink. The event will conclude at 22:00.
Admission is free. We warmly invite everyone to join this inspiring evening, whether you are a Landscape Architecture and Spatial Planning student at Wageningen University & Research, have a passion for architecture, or are simply looking for an engaging evening out.
