Downtime is a trio born out of the Jazz in Wageningen jam sessions. The first time they played together was on stage, and since then they've never wanted to leave it. The style of Downtime can't be pinned down to a single genre. A mix of jazz, hip-hop, and funk? Whatever grooves, works! Experiencing Downtime live feels like stepping onto a groovy rollercoaster. They take you on an instrumental journey through long build-ups, sharp turns, and high speeds. Don't be afraid to go off the rails, this trio will grab hold of you and won't let go
About the lunch concerts
Every Tuesday from 12:30 to 13:30 we invite you to enjoy a lunch concert or performance on Wageningen Campus: a moment to come together, relax, and be inspired by live music or dance.
The lunch concerts are meaningful because they:
- connect – students, staff, and visitors meet in an informal setting
- surprise – each week features a different artist and genre
- celebrate diversity – both professional performers and students share the stage
- energize – a performance in the middle of the day brings inspiration and a fresh perspective
