There's Justin, and there are the essentials. Together they're the groovy offspring of Seriwang, Wageningen's Indonesian student band. Where Seriwang plays a bit of everything, this crew chases one thing: the cozy corner where jazz, R&B, and neo-soul meet.
Nobody's locked to one instrument, we trade off keys, bass, drums, and voice as the set goes on. Think of Tiny Desk: relaxed, intimate, and built to make you nod along whether you came to listen or just wandered in. Expect Indonesian and English covers that fit the mood.
About the lunch concerts
Every Tuesday from 12:30 to 13:30 we invite you to enjoy a lunch concert or performance on Wageningen Campus: a moment to come together, relax, and be inspired by live music or dance.
The lunch concerts are meaningful because they:
- connect – students, staff, and visitors meet in an informal setting
- surprise – each week features a different artist and genre
- celebrate diversity – both professional performers and students share the stage
energise – a performance in the middle of the day brings inspiration and a fresh perspective
