Fostering dialogue and collaboration

Our expertise

In short
  • Facilitating complex processes
  • Scientific dialogue methods
  • Specialised facilities and pools of expertise
  • Supporting partnerships in co-creation processes

Transitions and transformations require collaboration between different parties, who often have differing visions, objectives and interests. By bringing together a diverse range of stakeholders, we can tackle even the most challenging transformation processes. Dialogue and co-creation are central to our approach. We provide support at every stage of the transformation process: from vision development to implementation, evaluation, scaling up or breaking through systemic lock-ins.

As impartial facilitators, we initiate and guide complex discussions. We tailor the dialogue methods we use to the context, complexity, scale and stage of a transformation process. Our key tools include the Dialogue Navigator and the Multi-Stakeholder Partnership Guide. These encourage in-depth reflection, stimulate co-creation and make decision-making processes more effective and fairer.

In co-creation processes, we adopt an adaptive, step-by-step approach. Different stakeholders build a shared understanding, which they then use as a basis for experimenting together and co-creating practical and workable solutions. Thanks to our in-depth and multidisciplinary expertise in the agri-food sector, we are able to bring together not only the ‘usual suspects’, but also unconventional and often excluded voices within the food system.

Our expertise is best showcased at the Omnia dialogue centre. This space, located at the entrance to the Wageningen Campus, has been specially designed to facilitate open and impactful discussions.
