WUR is best agricultural university in the world for seventh consecutive time

The QS World University Rankings by Subject 2022 were released on April 6. The influential ranking shows that Wageningen University & Research is the best agricultural university in the world for the seventh time in a row. Environmental sciences also scores a place in the top 10; WUR ends up in fifth place there.

For this ranking 1543 universities were evaluated on 51 different subjects.

Compared to other Dutch universities, in addition to Agriculture & Forestry, WUR is also in 1st place for Biology and Environmental Sciences. For Development Studies, Animal Sciences and Geophysics, WUR is in second place in the Netherlands.

About half of the QS ranking consists of a reputation survey (academic and employer), and the remainder consists of an analysis of the university's scientific impact (publications, H-index, citations). Want to take a look yourself? You can do this:
