Machteld Roos appointed Director of Operations of WUR Environmental Sciences Group
As of 1 September, the Executive Board of Wageningen University & Research (WUR) has appointed Machteld Roos (42) Director of Operations of the Environmental Sciences Group. Together with Managing Director Dr Bram de Vos, she will be responsible for the management of this WUR unit.
Machteld Roos studied business management at the University of Amsterdam. Since 2009, she worked as Vice Director of Operations at NIVEL in Utrecht. This research institute investigates health care in the Netherlands and in Europe. It is partially funded by the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, and at least for 50% by project grants.
Prior to occupying this position, Machteld Roos worked for SNS Reaal, SEO Economic Research and the Amsterdam Business School at the University of Amsterdam.
