New & renewed subscriptions

Nature Today

Nature Today keeps you informed on topical & daily developments in the nature around us. The stories are written by biologists and cover various topics including butterflies, mammals, amphibians, dragonflies, plants and birds. WUR biologist Dr Arnold van Vliet is the site’s coordinating editor.

Repbase

Repbase is a comprehensive collection of representative repeat sequences in eukaryotic genomes. The vast collection contains curated repeat data for over 100 organisms. Repbase allows researchers to distinguish and mask repetitive sequences from other interesting genomic regions with software such as Censor or RepeatMasker.

PsycInfo & PsycArticles

PsycInfo and PsycArticles are published by the American Psychological Association. Both databases are available through the EBSCOhost platform.

PsycInfo is the leading international bibliographic database on psychology and behavioural sciences. It contains over 4 million references and abstracts of peer-reviewed articles, books & book chapters, and dissertations. This information is selected from more than 2,500 periodicals. You can use PsycINFO to systematically search literature and access articles across various psychological subfields.

PsycArticles offers more than 200,000 full-text, peer-reviewed articles from nearly 80 journals published by and affiliated with the APA.

Psychology and behavioral sciences collection

Psychology & behavioral sciences collection is a full-text database for psychologists, counsellors, researchers and students. It provides hundreds of full-text psychology journals, including many indexed in APA PsycInfo. It offers particularly strong coverage in child and adolescent psychology and counselling.

Psychology & behavioral sciences collection can be searched independently, but it also allows WUR users to link to full text from references within APA PsycInfo. When viewed via EBSCOhost, these references link to articles from hundreds of full-text journals in the database.
