PromovendusTrees are interesting as they are witnesses to changing environments! Although the trees just stand there, the ecological researchers still have many interests to explore and understand what these trees have experienced so far and will probably meet in the future.
That's why I want to understand the climate sensitivity of subtropical forests with combining and relating tree growth dynamic and forest productivity under a changing climate. However, across various scales, it is changing to scale up from tree to whole stand level.
For future interest, my main idea is to spread the stem growth measurements to more subtropical forests, thus figure out their situation, functions, and roles across temporalspatial scales.
