Jay Marisca Gietzelt is a PhD candidate in the Environmental Systems Analysis chair group at Wageningen University & Research. Her research focuses on the co-production of scenarios and pathways to sustainability transformations, and is part of the wider EU Horizon DISTENDER project focusing on integrated climate change adaptation and mitigation. She is interested in transdisciplinary research, focusing on just transformations, scenario analysis, and marine social-ecological systems. Outside of her PhD research, she is also involved in public engagement and mobilization on environmental and ocean policy issues, as part of the Eurocean’s Youth Ambassador network and the Global Youth Biodiversity Network.
