He is a dedicated researcher and well known about the challenges these sectors are facing. More than 35 years of experience gives him the opportunity to report about the most important deveopments in economic performance, costs, innovations, finance and investments of all (sub)sectors in fisheries the Netherlands. Beside the national research also international research is carried out by him. He is acquainted with important developments in the fishsector and he has a wide network.
