Agro-Innovation Center De Marke is a dairy farm for scientifically based applied research and part of Wageningen University & Research. For over 30 years, De Marke has been developing integral sustainable solutions for the agricultural sector, together with farmers (and farmer organizations), entrepreneurs, educational institutions, and government, focusing on nature-inclusive and circular dairy farming, climate resilience, and precision agriculture.

The farm operates with low nitrogen and phosphate surpluses, minimizing environmental impact on soil, water, and air. Besides milk production, the farm showcases inspiring examples in:
- Reducing emissions through management solutions
- Minimizing nitrate leaching using cover crops
- Testing chemical-free crop protection on maize
- Controlling water quantity via drip irrigation
- Using precision agriculture for manure application
- Increasing biodiversity with tree lines
There is also space for arable crops, and pioneering crops are tested, such as fiber hemp and miscanthus.
