About Club of 100

About Club of 100

The Club of 100 is a collaboration of dozens of leading companies and non-commercial organisations in greenhouse horticulture. By virtue of its broad membership and supporting strategic applied research, the Club enables development of integrated, practice-oriented solutions that contribute to sustainable and profitable production systems and techniques in greenhouse cultivation. Members jointly define the themes for collaborative research, spanning plant health, novel growing techniques, emission-free, circular and autonomous cultivation. Results are shared exclusively with members and serve as the foundation for innovations in both Dutch and international greenhouse horticulture. Beyond knowledge sharing and influence on research, the Club of 100 offers valuable networking opportunities and visibility within the sector.

Members in the lead

Topics for joint strategic research projects are initiated by members. All members may participate in a steering committee in either an active (steering group member) or less active (agenda member) role. Results of all collaborative projects are accessible only to members.

Advisory board

The advisory board advises and supports the selection of projects for execution, strategic development and oversight of finances. The advisory board currently comprises seven members who represent the diverse fields of the members.

Non-commercial organisations involved in innovation may also become members. Membership involves a financial contribution, but in return members gain access to substantial research output through the strength of the consortium.
