As a license desk employee, you ensure efficient issuance and registration of licenses. You identify and see opportunities for savings, more effective use of licenses and thus unburden our employees.
Your tasks and responsibilities as a license desk employee:
- you are the first point of contact for questions about (software) licenses;
- you advise on the use of (software) licenses;
- you order, request quotes (and negotiate the conditions) and deliver (software) licenses;
- you are responsible for our license administration;
- you will draw up reports on (the use of) our (software) licenses.
Your team
In a small and close-knit team, you work together within the license desk. The license desk is part of the services department of IT. Every day it is our challenge to deliver the best IT service. In addition to your team members, you have close contacts with contract management, procurement and of course the other IT departments.
This is where you will work
With 200 employees, our IT department provides a modern ICT environment for education and research. We work in multidisciplinary teams on current issues in the field of digitization, self-service, security, data management, high performance computing and cloud strategy. So plenty of development and career opportunities for specialists at different levels.
Your qualities
You are accurate and work meticulously and have an affinity with IT.
- completed MBO Level 4 education or higher;
- good command of the Dutch and English language (oral and written).
The following competencies are important for this position:
- good listeners;
- communicative and advisory skills;
- customer-oriented.
In our international working environment, communication is increasingly in English. For this position, it is B2. If you do not yet have this level, we will of course help you and you can contact our language center Wageningen in'to Language.

Depending on your experience, we offer a salary of a minimum of € 3,231 to a maximum of € 4,374 for a full working week of 36 hours according to the Collective Labor Agreement of Wageningen Research (scale 8). An appointment of 32 hours is negotiable for this role. We offer you a one-year contract with the intention of converting it into an indefinite contract.
