Biografie
Ahmad Catur Widyatmoko (Moko) is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Aquaculture and Fisheries Group (AFI), Wageningen University & Research. He holds a PhD in Quantitative Marine Science from the University of Tasmania, Australia.
Moko’s current research focuses on developing a digital twin of marine fish tracking in the North Sea. His work addresses the complex dynamics of fish movement, an ecological challenge exacerbated by the absence of GPS tracking underwater. By harnessing the power of generative artificial intelligence, he builds predictive models of fish behavior using historical datasets from Data Storage Tags (DSTs) and acoustic telemetry. This research provides critical decision-support systems within the broader Digital Twin Ocean initiative, ultimately supporting the sustainable management of marine ecosystems.
