AK (Akshay Kumar) Burusa, MSc

I am a PhD candidate at the Farm Technology group at Wageningen University. My research orbits around the development of novel perception strategies to overcome variation and occlusion in complex agro-food environments. My personal goal is to work towards ensuring global food security through innovation in agricultural robotics. Hence, my future endeavors will most likely involve the advancement of intelligent and integrated agro-food systems and ushering this technology to the people.
My educational background includes a Master's in Systems, Control and Robotics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden in 2015 and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from Anna University, India in 2011 .
