dr. AO (Ayodeji) Deolu-Ajayi

I started working at Agrosystems Business Unit in 2019. With a background in plant Physiology (PhD, Christa Testerink group UvA/ WUR), my research focuses on characterising promising adaptation strategies for crops currently suffering from abiotic stress.

The projects I am involved in bridges the gap between scientific knowledge and practice, and combining multiple disciplines (crop-soil-water-technology) with the aim to combat food insecurity, especially affected by the increase of salinisation and drought.
