Programmme director of the BSc/MSc Landscape Architecture and Spatial Planning & Lecturer at the Cultural Geograhy Group.

As a lecturer at the Cultural Geography group my research interests foremost concern conservation tourism practices across various African and European destinations (e.g. Namibia, Kenya, Spain and Portugal). I am further broadly interested in understanding how emerging tensions contribute to the formation of conservation landscapes, tourism practices, and wider socio-political relations.
