Academic Teacher and Researcher

Biografie

Biografie

I am a biologist with a strong background in cellular and molecular biology, physiology, and biotechnology. After earning my BSc and MSc (cum laude) and completing a PhD at the University of Bari A. Moro (Italy), I continued my research as a postdoctoral fellow in Physiology at Radboud UMC in the Netherlands.

In 2019, I transitioned into a combined role in research and education at the Department of Human and Animal Physiology. I currently teach at both the BSc and MSc levels, and since 2020, I also serve as lab coordinator, supporting and overseeing research activities within the group.

In my job as teacher, my goal is to positively influence students by showing them their value as individuals and inspire them to always strive for improvement. I want to show them that science can be fun, interesting and fascinating. I want them to develop criticism, creative thinking and problem-solving skills by challenging their curiosity. I wish to instill a passion for learning within my students while providing them with an encouraging and positive educational environment. I hope to provide them with the skills and tools necessary for their academic growth and the confidence to embrace their dreams and make it a reality.
