I am a researcher at the Aquaculture Biology and Fisheries Ecology (AFI) Group.

I have a strong interest in quantitative fish nutrition, which I developed during my MSc (study on the apparent digestibility of individual feed ingredients in Nile tilapia) and PhD (bioenergetics and muscle growth in Nile tilapia), both conducted under the supervision of Johan Schrama.

I am currently exploring research opportunities on tropical aquaculture systems for the Aquaculture biology and Fisheries ecology group, with an emphasis on the role of pond aquaculture in Sub-saharan African food systems.
