dr. J (Janneke) Pieters

Janneke Pieters is an Associate Professor in the Development Economics Group, and Research Fellow at the Insitute of Labor Economics (IZA) and UNU-WIDER. Before joining Wageningen University, she was Research Associate at IZA. She has a PhD in Economics from the University of Groningen.

Her research interests are in development and labor economics, with particular focus on the role of women in the economy and the impacts of women's work on family outcomes.
