    The Advisory Committee plays a vital role in advising our Executive Management and Board of Directors on key programmatic priorities and the selection of projects that align with WHHs mission, both in Germany and internationally. The independent perspectives brought in by members from academia and practice are critical to ensuring the continued quality and relevance of WHHs work. Committee members also provide strategic advice on our programs and advocacy work. The committee meets twice a year, primarily in virtual format. Over the course of a four-year term, there will typically be one, or at most two, in-person meetings at our headquarters in Bonn, providing opportunities for exchange with our Executive Management and colleagues from across the organization.
