Biografie
I am an inter- and transdisciplinary researcher in Land and Water Management, focusing on assessing climate change impacts and supporting vulnerable populations in building resilience in regions where human activities and climate stress intersect. My interests lie in natural resource management, participatory research, and the development of evidence-based tools for decision-makers, with experience across the MENA region, Brazil, France, Burundi, Madagascar, and Benin.
I am currently supporting two entrepreneurship-oriented projects funded through the SDG Partnership Facility with the RVO. I support the "Fish Farming Value Chain Development Project", which aims to establish sustainable fish farming practices in Burundi. The project focuses on forming farmer (fish) associations and enabling farmers to play a more active role in rural development through the Participatory Integrated Planning (PIP) approach.
I am also involved in the "TSARA" project, which seeks to transform smallholder farming systems in Madagascar through regenerative agriculture, crop diversification, and integration into rice and artemisia value chains. The project collaborates with public and private stakeholders to improve farmer incomes, soil health, and landscape sustainability.
Beyond field research, I contribute to capacity strengthening and knowledge exchange with institutional partners, including the facilitation of trainings on participatory planning approaches, such as PIP, in West and East Africa.
