Vera Silva has a PhD on soil pollution by pesticide residues. Researcher in SLM group since 2019. Project scientific manager of the H2020SPRINT project (Sustainable plant protection transition: A global health approach). Involved in the monitoring of pesticide residues in EU and African soils (via the LUCAS 2018 survey, and the H2020 Soils4Africa project, respectively). Co-leading the ‘Nutrient cycling and contaminant mitigation’ research line of WU Soil cluster.
