dr.ir. TP (Tammo) Bult

Dr. Tammo Bult is Director of Wageningen Marine Research, part of Wageningen University & Research; ICES Delegate on behalf of The Netherlands; and Member of the Wadden Sea Harbours Advisory Committee.

Tammo has been President of the European Fisheries and Aquaculture Research Organisation (EFARO); Director of the Center for Marine Policy; ICES-Vice President; Dutch representative in the ICES Advisory Committee; Head of the Fisheries Department of the Institute for Marine Resources and Ecosystem Studies (IMARES); fish & shellfish fisheries biologist at the Dutch Fisheries Institute (RIVO); ecologist at the Governmental Institute for Coastal Zone Management; researcher at Witteveen & Bos Consultants; and all-round employee of West Coast Fishculture smolt farm in BC Canada.

Tammo received his MSc in Fisheries and Aquaculture at Wageningen University and his PhD in Biology at the Memorial University of Newfoundland, St. John’s, Canada.
