My background is in human geography of developing countries (Utrecht university) and environment and resource management (VU Amsterdam), both quite broad MSc’s that look at the biophysical environment from a social sciences perspective. I worked for about 15 years for the Dutch national government (first DLG (Government Service for Land and Water Management) and later RVO) on projects related to land and water management; agriculture, water, nature and climate adaptation.
