E (Erik) de Vries

After finishing my PhD in Political Communication at the University of Stavanger (Norway) I am now working as Postdoc at the Strategic Communication group. In this role I provide support on anything related to text mining and machine learning, both to PhDs and other researchers in the group. I also assist during teaching, particularly when courses involve statistics and/or R. My research interests lie in the realm of agenda-setting, particularly the role of mass media in influencing/being influenced by politicians and the public.
