GC (Giulia) Cafiero

After graduating at Roma Tre University in Molecular Biology, I started my PhD at the Environmental Risk Assessment (ERA) team. My project "Understanding the mechanisms driving invertebrate species’ sensitivity towards plant protection products" is part of a collaboration between ERA, the Aquatic Ecology and Water Quality Management group and the Environmental Toxicology group. 

My competences range over aquatic ecotoxicology and molecular and developmental biology. I am passionate about environmental safety and protection, as well as policy and regulatory ecotoxicology.
