Biografie

Annemarieke de Bruin is an interdisciplinary researcher with 20 years of experience in Dutch, UK-based and international academic research. Her research has focussed on interdisciplinary learning processes that bring together stakeholders including within the context of agriculture, water governance, and tree health management. She graduated in 2007 from Wageningen University with an MSc in Tropical Landuse (specialisation Erosion, soil and water conservation) and an MSc in Geo-Information Science (specialisation GIS). After graduating she moved to the UK where she worked at the University of York, York, UK at the Stockholm Environment Institute for 13 years. From 2020- 2025 she worked on her PhD research 'Perceptions of justice in food system transitions' at the Animal Production Systems group. She now continues her research at the Animal Production Systems group as a postdoc.
